Lee Enfield #5 Jungle Carbine The ill fated "Jungle Carbine" of the Lee family. The weapon was reliable, but because of the short barrel and powerful cartridge, blast is quite uncomfortable. The other problem that it had was a "wandering zero" - zero it today and it shoots beautifully, but tomorrow, you miss by miles and need to re-zero. The British spent a few years trying to fix it, but they couldn't, so in 1947 it was declared obsolete and production ceased. Picture from Kyle Giffin
