Norinco NP-77 Also known as the TYPE 77, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE 77-B (This gun has some common operational features with the 77-B, but the 77-B was EVALUATED, not officially ADOPTED, by the Chinese army and police). This semi auto pistol is the standard sidearm for their military and police. It is a Makarov based design, chambered for the 7.62-Tokarev. It was probably introduced at the same time, or a few years later than the NP59 (their Makarov copy).
