SMITH & WESSON EXPERIMENTAL .256-WINCHESTER (U.S.A)
In the 1960's Smith & Wesson experimented with several types of revolver frames and calibers, however none was more exotic than this model. Chambered in 256 Winchester (a rifle cartridge) this 10.0 inch barreled revolver was intended for testing how far the boundaries of the revolver could be pushed. In the end the design never saw production and the few specimens produced remain collectors items.
