CZ Lada 2000 Light Support Weapon
This Assault Weapons system, including an assault rifle, an assault carbine and a Light Support Weapon, in starting to be adopted by small special units of the Czech and Slovak armies, even if the complete adoption is still far away of time due to lack of funds. Developed by CZ in 1994 as a export weapon to the West, it was originally named the LADA and was chambered in both 5'56mm-NATO and 5'45mm-Soviet. Since the name change it seems to only be available in 5'56mm-NATO, it is a gas operated selective fire weapon. It is unclear if the rifle and carbine variants can use the 75 round drum of the light machinegun version. CALIBER: Either 5'56x45mm and 5'45x39mm ACTION: Gas operated WEIGHT: 3 Kg. Empty (Assault rifle) / 2,60 Kg Empty (Carbine) / 4,10 Kg. Empty (Light Support Weapon) MAGAZINE CAPACITY: 30 rounds (70 rounds in LSW version)
