FN-BROWNING DOUBLE ACTION DA96
The Browning DA was originally a production weapon introduced in the early 1980's, it was intended to be a newer version of their classic GP-35. One of the novel features of the series was that the weapon came in standard, medium and compact sizes-a novel idea in the early 1980's. However there were problems with production and tooling which greatly hurt it's potential market share. The weapon seemed to be an obscure foot note in the Browning archives when the war came about, the need arose for a compact automatic to be issued to officers, armored troops and other elite forces. FN-Browning quickly began pushing for a revised version of the DA, known also as the DA 96 to differtinate it from the prior model. The weapon can use the standard GP-35 magazines as well as it's own 7 round box magazine. -- TECHNICAL DATA: CALIBER: 9x19mm-Parabellum CAPACITY: 7-rounds or 13-rounds double-stack column WEIGHT: 1 Pound 9 Ounces
