FLORO 5'56mm-PDW FLORO INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION of Philippines has developed the .5'56x45mm-NATO Personal Defense Weapon (5'56mm-PDW) for conventional forces, as a replacement for their 9mm sidearms and submachineguns. The PDW uses .5'56x45mm-NATO ammunition (M193 or SS109) and M16-type box magazines (20 and 30 rounds capacity), this improving ammunition compatibility requirements among troops while increasing their firepower effectiveness, The use of a patented RRS (Recoil Reduction System) enhances operator marksmanship and training. An optional sound suppressor.
