LAFRANCE NOVA
The La France Nova was designed in the early 1990's as a potential military grade compact sidearm. Starting with a conventional Star BKM handgun the weapon is then shortened and fitted with various optionals such as an ElectroFilm finish to make the weapon resistant to rust. Utilizing the Browning swinging links the weapon itself is reported to be very accurate for such a compact design, as such it is touted as being capable of 7-8 centimer groups at 25 Yard ranges. Being the LaFrance Nova the SMALLEST .9MM PISTOL CURRENTLY EXISTING, unfortunately it is also one of the rarest, not being very popular since it is good only for backup, and its small size causes heavy recoil, high muzzle blast, and poor range. It is, however, more powerful than most backup pistols. --- TECHNICAL SPECS: CALIBER: 9x19mm-Parabellum CAPACITY: 7 rounds TOTAL LENGHT: 129 Millimeters BARREL LENGHT: 2,75 Inches WEIGHT: 680 Grams RIFLING: 6 grooves, RH. =WARNING= The sources of informations about theLAFRANCE NOVA are very few and rare to find, furthermore I'm no more able to access the source of the Technical Specifics.
