LAFRANCE M16-K/.45
The LaFrance M16-K/.45 is the second "member" of the M16-K family by LaFrance, the first being the .5'56mm M16-K/.223. The M16-K/.45 esists in both semi-automatic civilian carbine version and select-fire submachinegun version for Military and Law Enforcement agencies. It bases itself on the tried-and-true AR15-style action, as yet experimented on the COLT submachinegun. Only, this, having a fixed polymer buttstock instead of the telescopic one of the COLT SMGs, is claimed to be some more stable during full auto-fire and burst-shot, and allowing a "total" control in semi-automatic fire, with a good precision until 50 meters of distance. The LaFrance M16-K/.45 and M16-K/.223, in both semi-automatic and select-fire versions, are made since 1994; it can also use M3 "Grease Gun" magazines. --- TECHNICAL SPECS: CALIBER: .45-ACP CAPACITY: 30 Rounds TOTAL LENGHT: 676 Millimeters BARREL LENGHT: 184 Millimeters WEIGHT: 3,86 Kilograms RIFLING: 6 Grooves, RH RATE OF FIRE: 625 Rounds Per Minute ----------
