Here is a nice accumulation of some members of the MB Associates Gyrojet family, or as more commonly referred to "MBA." Take notice that the rocket guns depicted here cover all phases of the developmental stages, all the while noting how they changed form during their limited production, by development in design as well as manufacturing materials. The bottom carbine is from the experimental stage, and as you move your eyes above, you will see it's further evolution by viewing the production carbine and pistols above it. There is also a full 24 round box of factory rocket ammunition, as well as a binder compiled of patent submissions, tests, schematics for both guns and ammunition, there are even a few magazines that they were featured in during their introduction and prime years. These guns are all of the 13mm flavor, however MBA did make a short run in 12mm as well during there last years. Not often does one come across such a complete documentary of items with such great historical significance, specifically our modern rocket history as well as miniature rockets. These were also the guns that sparked a few minds burning midnight oil in the Hollywood movie realm, as these were later featured in the famous James Bond 007 series of films. Our Military also ran tests and evaluations of these for use in Vietnam by Special Operations soldiers. The Gyrojets did see some action over there and were coveted by their users,well.... that is the ones that the rockets did not leave a smoke trail back to the person shooting it. You see, the humidity in Vietnam was quite harsh and the solid rocket fuel these use did not always take so well to that particular climate. I hope you enjoyed looking at and learning about these wonderful guns. Thomas W. Fuss <><
