Norinco QS-84
NORINCO QS-84 The NORINCO QS-84 is a very compact semiautomatic pistol which design heavily borrows from the tiny Browning "Baby" handgun, thus its system is tried and true. It is in service in the PRC with the Internal Security officers, mainly those who serve in civilian clothes on airplanes, trains, and crowded spaces. It weights only 380 Grams, and it fires the .7'62x17mm "Palestinian Type" round. This cartridge, which is in service in China since long time, may be confused with the .7'65mm-Browning, a.k.a. the .32-ACP (which in metric is .7'65x17mm), in fact it is somewhat assimilable to the .32 but in truth its ballistics are much more similar to a "short .7'62mm-Tokarev round". The main feature of the .7'62x17mm round is to frange itself when hitting a mediumly-resistant target such as a human body, thus causing lethal damages, without overpenetrating and endangering bystanders, or putting at stack the integrity of the surrounding spaces (and this is a pretty good thing when you're forced to shoot an armed attacker inside an airplane on flight). --- TECHNICAL SPECS: CALIBER: .7'62x17mm CAPACITY: 5 rounds WEIGHT: 0,38 Kilograms MUZZLE VELOCITY: 200 Meters per Second
