COIC (Norinco) QS-64 Service Version
NORINCO QS-64 Also known as the TYPE 64, this pistol was made by COIC (China Ordnance Industries Consortium) during the '60s as the main sidearm for military high-rank officers, military attachées, Chinese diplomatics abroad when possible, and police. Based upon the reliable Walther PPK system, this pistol fires the .7'62x17mm "Palestinian type" round, a frangible Chinese bullet in service in China since long time and on duty still today, though in phase of replacement; it's a cartridge assimilable to the .32-ACP but actually much more powerful. It was replaced in service with the People's Armed Police and in certain military units in the end of the '70s, by the TYPE 77 handgun, and NORINCO cured a "luxury" civilian version of it, for export, which is still made today on request. --- TECHNICAL SPECS: CALIBER: .7'62x17mm CAPACITY: 7 rounds TOTAL LENGHT: 155 Millimeters BARREL LENGHT: 85 Millimeters WEIGHT: 0,65 Kilograms WIDHT: 23 Millimeters HEIGHT: 100 Millimeters MUZZLE VELOCITY: From 295 to 315 Meters per Second EFFECTIVE RANGE: 50 Meters
