NORINCO BBQ-901
The BBQ-901, made since the early '80s by North China Industries Corporation, was primarily engineered for the Armed Forces of the People's Republic of China. It had to be a military offensive weapon (odd to see, you'll know why in a moment), but now is mainly used by the PAP (People's Armed Police) in certain zones of the PRC, specially in the desertic northern and western regions and in the south-east-Asian and Indian borders, to bring down dangerous animals such as bears, wolves, tigers, etc. The BBQ-901 is an airgun. It uses a CO2 load, hosted in that odd foregrip, to launch a 12'7 caliber dart, which can be soaked in several loads, including tranquilizers and venoms (was it so intended to be a silent military weapon to bring down sentries and guard dogs? Do these things REALLY HAPPEN? I saw it just in movies and found it pretty gay also...!). It has an upfolding metal stock, and it is single-shot, with a top-break barrel. CALIBER: 12'7mm Darts CAPACITY: 1 dart TOTAL LENGHT: 570 Millimeters BARREL LENGHT: 315 Millimeters MAXIMUM RANGE: 40 Meters
