ADLER-JAGER Model AP-82 selfloading carbine
This carbine, as many others, appeared in the early 1980s (more precisely, this was born around 1985) in the spawning of military-style rimfire and centerfire small-caliber rifles and carbines that appeared in Europe and worldwide (particularly in Europe, where the explosion of political terrorism between the '60s and the '70s had given origin to restrictive gun laws as far as military-alike firearms were concerned). This is an Italian-made, rather crude spawning of the then-newly-appeared British SA-80/L-85 Bull-Pup assault rifle. -TECHNICAL SPECS- CALIBER: 9mm-Steyr / 22-Lr / 32-Acp / 22-Magnum / 9x21mm / 9x18mm-Police / .351-Winchester CAPACITY: From 10 to 15 rounds (depending from the caliber) in double-stack column detachable magazine BARREL LENGHT: From 439 to 470 Millimetres depending from caliber TOTAL LENGHT: About 670 Millimetres RIFLING: 6 grooves, RH WORKING SYSTEM: Semi-automatic, gas-operated NUMBER OF INSCRIPTION TO THE ITALIAN NATIONAL CATALOGUE OF FIREARMS (CatNaz): 3826 -MANUFACTURER- ADLER S.r.l - ARMI JAEGER Now out of business in the form it used to be.
